okay There's been one big story in Plymouth recently, and that's been about one post worker who had been hoarding mail from the PL2 and PL3 addresses for seven years in a room in her house! We used to live near a postmistress... and we live in PL2! Anyhow, if anything, this does not highlight my faith in the Royal Mail-even though i continue to use it.
Nothing much has been happening in my life apart from the fact we went to the Fortescue quiz last Sunday and won £104!(Between six, but still, very very nice nonetheless) It was so much easier compared to the Elm Tree quiz too! Also we went to my second eldest step cousin's wedding this weekend in Bury. For those of you who do not know where Bury is, go North of Manchester but only just and west of Bolton. I hadn't seen all my step cousins for nine years or more, so it was a bit weird but it was a nice trip away from Plymouth and I think Michelle and Terry had a good day(the bride and groom). One problem was that all their guests were luvvies, as Terry is a playwright, this shouldn't have been a problem if they wanted to integrate and talk but they didn't... so we all felt they were being a tad pretentious. It was quite surreal that the keyboardist out of Les Alanos(Phoenix Nights) was there though! When up in Bury I tried another ale, that knocked the socks off previous ales i've enjoyed such as Sam Smiths OBB and London Pride- it was called Holts'. I urge you to try i, it is actually a lovely pint.
I shall be booking my train tickets soon to go to Leicester on the 19th... and it's a month and about two days until i'm in Barcelona!:)
Due to this, guess whose been re-reading "Homage to Catalonia";)

I'm also annoyed i'm not up there for the summer sundae weekender so i could finally see BSP live. But Tom's not there that weekend *grumble* hehe.
I shall go to the Walkers and laugh at your latest new signing(Peter "Gilbert the Filbert" Gilbert) and chuckle at his irony "I wanted to play for a bigger club and see if Leicester actually is the second worst place in the East Midlands after Northampton(this is what my Dad says).

Woodhouse vs Oadby
Will,I have consulted a map-where you live in Woodhouse is practically in Loughborough;) and although close to Leicester city centre is nowhere near as close as Oadby. I cannot comment which one is better though, until i've been to both places.

ok, on closer inspection i've realised you are right :P i assumed woodhouse was right next to newtown linford but it would seem i was wrong...woodhouse is still superior :PAnonymous

Les Alanos eh? Sounds like you're really rubbing shoulders with the cream of society. And good work on the quiz there. We need to keep you sharp so you can help us lose cash more slowly on the Cluedo machines back in Durham. A pint that beats London Pride, indeed? Surely not.Ian Moyes
